Bristol ACT special interest group
A new evening group running every other month at Southmead Hospital. The focus will be on experiential learning - not just talking ACT but practicing ACT together in a welcoming and supportive peer-led forum.
The format will be based on the Portland model of peer consultation. In a nutshell, involves a mix of experiential learning in small groups, as well as some time for updates, announcements (e.g. training events) and reflection on brief clinical consultation questions. The aim is for it to be an informal, supportive, and useful space!
The group is open to qualified healthcare professionals seeing clients in a clinical context (psychologists, CBT therapists, physiotherapists etc.) - who are actively using ACT in their work and are open to an experiential approach to peer supervision. Those pre-qualification working in supervised clinical settings (e.g. assistant psychologists) are very welcome to join.
If you are new to the group, email or text me for details.
